A Vision Born Through Faith and Community
Women's Ministry was created with a vision to connect, encourage, and uplift women and families through faith, outreach, education, and community support. What began in 2020 as a small virtual gathering of six women during the COVID-19 pandemic has since grown into a diverse network reaching individuals across the United States and internationally.
Inspired by a passion for service and positive change, Kim recognized the need for meaningful connection, encouragement, and accessible support during a time when many people felt isolated, uncertain, and overwhelmed. With the assistance of her daughter Andrea and the support of her Pastor Sandra Alston, the organization launched its first virtual sessions using the ZOOM platform, creating a safe and empowering space for women to share, heal, grow, and build community.
Expanding Outreach and Empowerment
Today, ZOOM International Women’s Ministry focuses on initiatives that strengthen individuals, families, and communities through mentorship, outreach programs, empowerment sessions, leadership development, and community engagement. The organization is committed to helping women and families embrace their purpose, overcome life challenges, and develop the confidence and resources needed to thrive personally and professionally.
Over the years, participation has expanded significantly, with members joining from states including Colorado, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas, Tennessee, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Virginia, Florida, Louisiana, Maryland, Kentucky, and beyond, as well as internationally from Jamaica and West Africa. Through virtual gatherings, community events, conferences, and outreach initiatives, more than 200 women and families have been impacted by the organization’s programs and support network.
Building Stronger Communities for the Future
As the organization continues to grow, its mission remains centered on empowerment, collaboration, and service. In addition to women’s initiatives, the organization has expanded efforts to include men, youth, and young adults through mentorship, life skills development, leadership opportunities, and community-centered programs designed to inspire positive change for future generations.
ZOOM International Women’s Ministry believes in building stronger families, healthier communities, and lasting connections through compassion, outreach, and collective impact. Through every initiative, the organization remains dedicated to encouraging individuals to walk confidently in their purpose while creating opportunities that empower communities locally and globally.
